| All
of us have obeyed some rules or the other at home as we grew up. This
could range from “Be in bed at 8 pm” to “Don’t
talk with your mouth full” or “Don’t whistle inside
the house”! Somehow these rules get into our system from the time
we start walking and it never goes out!
Here at Aliya, we were once talking about these and
then it struck us that each of us women are a storehouse of these. Hence
we thought we would put these in paper. And what would be more fun than
reading more and more of these. Makes us the girls we were once more doesn’t
it?!! We know that each of you have had these rules so it would be nice
if this is shared among us women. We can have a good laugh! I remember
one of the rules I had to follow was “No boy-friends!!”
So keep coming here, we are sure you would enjoy reading
these. Do send us the ones you have had to obey and better still the ones
you have laid out at home for your children. Lets all have a good laugh!

If you do not have something nice to say: be quiet and smile!

We'll tell you once - you are all
so smart so you don't need to be told to do something over
and over again.
Homework and chores come first - only ask to play or watch
TV after they are finished.
Solve problems with each other peacefully and on your own
- only involve mom & dad when you have tried to solve
it yourselves first.
Words are very important - be respectful of yourselves and
others
From Sana

Pick up your toys and clothes

Use inside voices when you're inside the house
Put your toys away when you're done playing with them
In bed by 8:30pm
