does not always mean a multi-million dollar
empire or a silver spruce Rolls Royce. Yes these
are signs of success but having this does not
make a person extraordinary in Aliya’s
parlance. Success is when you have done your
best. When you stand up and go on even after
a fall.
So if you think that this
is a section that’s meant for super-heroines,
you would have to rethink your definition of
extra-ordinary. These women whom we feature
here may be successful in their field of activity
but they also are very ordinary people. What
made them extra-ordinary was their determination
to push on despite contrary circumstances. Women
from diverse back-grounds. Women who love their
family more than anything else. Women who would
give up all this for their children. Women who
know they can make a difference but does not
allow that to go into their head.
